Description:
As an Engineer Principal, you will perform highly complex engineering analyses and designs in support of operations, systems, programs, audit inspections, and assessments. This role requires advanced skills and experience in applying engineering methods, analysis, codes, standards, and regulatory requirements. You will provide technical leadership, mentorship, and training on highly complex projects, as well as initiate the development of new policies, programs, plans, and procedures to meet strategic objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university and eight years of engineering experience, plus one diverse assignment; OR a high school diploma or GED and PE license obtained by accredited examination plus eight years of engineering experience and one diverse assignment.Knowledge of discipline engineering principles, practices, and theories, with advanced technical knowledge of related disciplines.SRO or Plant Certification preferred.Experience with Medium Voltage switchgear, 4kV electrical bus structures, advanced relay and protection desired.Experience in Nuclear design process is a plus.Previous experience with the Standard Design Process and Digital Design Process desired.Desired Skills:
Two diverse assignments preferred.PE license is preferred.Must maintain current knowledge of industry developments and applications.Category: Principal Engineer
